Returns, Exchanges and Policies

Each ceramic item is unique, handmade by an artisan, using the Nerikomi technique. Due to the multitude of joins on the surfaces from this technique, every grain's ceramics will come with asymmetry and imperfections. All products have been tested against leakage and are food safe.

Timings

Order despatch
After payment has been made, orders will be despatched in 3 business days.

Return period
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 7 days of delivery receipt. Please see the Returns and Exchanges policies on this page for this to take effect.

Replacement and exchange lead time
Because each item is handmade, and the Nerikomi process of making, drying and firing necessitates time, the lead time for making and delivering a replacement can be up to 8 weeks, from the point where we agree a replacement should be provided.

Shopping

UK orders only
At the moment, I only deliver the item within the UK. If your order hasn't arrived within 10 days of placing the order, please get in touch.

Shipping
Please visit Shipping and Delivery for more information. I don't make a profit from shipping fees, and I ask for your help in covering the costs of packaging and handling. Thank you for your understanding!

If you are not in to take delivery of your parcel, it is your responsibility to arrange a redelivery with the postal service used. If you do not arrange a redelivery or collect the parcel from the depot and it results in a return to every grain, then I will have to charge to ship it out again.

Cancellations
If you wish to cancel an order, please email 
info@everygrain.co or contact me via Facebook Messenger as soon as possible. If I have despatched the item, you will have to follow returns instructions. The buyer will be responsible for return shipping rate and returning the item in unused, original and unbroken conditions.

Returns and exchanges
I am sure you will be delighted with your purchase. However, if you wish to return an item, please bear these points in mind.

  • Photos of intact artwork will be sent to you along with a notification of despatch.
  • All used items are non-returnable. 
  • Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
  • To be eligible for a return, you must contact every grain within 7 days of delivery receipt. Your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, in its original packaging. You must despatch the item within a further 7 days, via the shipping method appointed by every grain.
  • Orders refused at the point of delivery will incur return shipping charges as well as a restocking fee of 20% of the order cost.
  • Shipping costs for returns and exchanges, both for sending and returning the items, are the responsibility of the buyer. 
  • All items must be sent back in original condition and packaging. Because these items are fragile, please wrap and package them very securely.
  • I cannot accept liability for lost or damage items that you have posted back. If the product has not been returned in fully saleable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund or replacement of the item.

How to request return or exchange

  1. Please email info@everygrain.co with these pieces of information, within 7 days of delivery receipt: Order number, reason for return, include photos if necessary, your wish for a refund or an exchange
  2. every grain will review your request
  3. Once your request is approved, every grain will send you instructions for purchasing postage, and where to send.
  4. Wrap the item securely, making sure there's ample cushioning around all aspects of the item.
  5. Send the item back to every grain. Every grain will review the item for refund/exchange approval. Keep postage receipt in case of loss or damage in transit.
  6. Refunds will be initiated within 48 hours of return receipt. Funds will be returned to your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
  7. Exchanges can take up to 8 weeks to complete, as items are handmade from scratch.

Damages and shipping issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us with clear, detailed photos immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that I can evaluate the issue and make it right.

I wrap the items very carefully with bubble wrap, and additional void fills which ensure your ceramic arrives intact. Please inspect your order upon receipt. In the unfortunate event where the item has arrived damaged, or a wrong order is issued, please contact info@everygrain.co with detailed photos within 24 hours. D
o not throw away the item, keep it in its packaging. Otherwise I can't be held responsible for the damage that has occurred.
